Years ago, I was given the box with the understanding that I would create a cookbook to share with all of the family. I tried, but it never really became the product that I wanted it to be. I decided the next best thing would be to share the recipes in a way that anyone who was interested could find them and use them. Hence, this blog.
Looking for Mamaw's Jalapeno Cornbread on Google brought me to your blog. Someone actually mentioned they were making it from their own Mamaw's recipe but I'll bet it's pretty close to yours. They said they slice theirs and fry it like French Toast, likely covered in pepper jelly. It all sounds delicious and perfect for Sunday dinner tomorrow. Thanks for sharing your recipe box.
