Remember Mamaw's recipe box, so worn with age that the top and part of the bottom were missing? A sturdy rubber band was that box's best friend!
Years ago, I was given the box with the understanding that I would create a cookbook to share with all of the family. I tried, but it never really became the product that I wanted it to be. I decided the next best thing would be to share the recipes in a way that anyone who was interested could find them and use them. Hence, this blog.

Great-grandbabies!
Super sweet picture of Mamaw with Michael and Heather, taken in either March or April 1988. What precious babies they were--and still are! Mamaw looks very happy in this snapshot.
